The first step you’ll need to take to connect your controller is to find the Bluetooth pairing button. Depending on how you orient your Xbox Series X or Series S, it will either be on the bottom left (placed sideways) or bottom right (placed standing up).

When you find the button, you have to press and hold it until the Xbox button starts blinking. As soon as you see it blink, press and hold the controller’s Bluetooth pairing button, located on the top middle near the LB button.

The controller should start blinking in tandem with the Xbox Series X or Series S after a few seconds, eventually pairing it with your console.

As long as you don’t pair it to a different console, your controller should automatically sync up with your console. That means you don’t have to worry about doing this process every time you turn on your machine.
