The Dark Pictures Anthology kicked off last year with the release of Man of Medan. Set on a creepy, abandoned ship out at sea, the narrative-driven experience saw players’ decisions determining which characters survived and how the story played out. Little Hope is the next entry in The Dark Pictures, and sees a group of college kids stranded in Little Hope, a town infamous for witch hunting in the 17th century. If you were wondering whether or not Little Hope has new game plus, here’s what you need to know.
Is There New Game Plus in The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope?
There is no new game plus mode in Little Hope, and quite frankly, it’d be a bit of a strange inclusion to have in the narrative-driven experience.
While new game plus modes are often used to ramp up the difficulty while allowing players to use their character build complete with levels and certain items to start their adventure all over again, that wouldn’t really work in Little Hope.
There aren’t any items that would make things any easier for you, and the game’s largely narrative-driven and QTE-based. It’s more the decisions you make and your reaction speed that’ll determine whether or not the college kids make it out of the town alive.
If you’re that keen to play through Little Hope again, you can always just start it over from the beginning and make different choices along the way. This will cause the story to branch off and can ultimately affect the characters that may or may not make it out of Little Hope alive.
That’s everything you need to know about whether or not there’s a Little Hope New Game Plus mode. For more tips, tricks, and guides on everything video games, be sure to search for Twinfinite, or check out more of our coverage on the game below.
