Temtem has become a hit since coming out into Early Access. It shares more than a couple of similarities with Pokemon, meaning you’ll be heading out in the vibrant world to capture creatures to add to your powerful team. In case you’re after a great Water type Temtem, here’s everything you need to know about how to get Oceara in Temtem.
Getting Oceara in Temtem
Right now, Oceara can only be caught in one specific location in the game’s world and, while it’s not tough to find, it’s not easy to reach.
You need to head to the lowest floor in the Aguamarina Caves, which are at the north end of the Sillaro River. The thing is, to actually navigate them, you’ll need to get the Surfboard.
We’ve got a full guide on that here, but in short, as part of the story you’ll head to a Dojo and need to find Sophia. Once you’ve freed her, you’ll fight her in her Dojo, and collect it as the reward. Then, you can actually go about searching for Oceara in the Aguamarina Caves.
Once in there, go north to get out of the water and go through the cave you’ll see there. Then, you’ll be in a route that you can keep following to reach the Waterfall Pool.
Here is where you’ll be able to find Oceara as a random encounter. Just wander around for a bit and you’ll hopefully find it. It’s not particularly common, but it’s worth waiting for.
Then, simply try to catch it. Putting Oceara to sleep and using Temtem that are strong against water types are good tactics to use, but you’ll probably know this by this point in the game.
In short, to get Oceara in Temtem
- Head to the Aguamarina Caves
- Use to Surfboard to get to the Waterfall Pool
- Wander around to encounter Oceara, then catch it
