5 GT Characters That Need to Join Dragon Ball FighterZ
Baby
The first legitimate threat Goku and his friends faced in the GT series, Baby has plenty of elements that could be translated into a fun FighterZ character.
A machine mutant created by the Tuffle race to exact revenge on the Saiyans, Baby is able to infect and control living beings by entering their bloodstream. This is how he came to control Vegeta, altering his appearance the longer he held control.
It’s through this that he’s able to utilize Vegeta’s ki and melee techniques while also utilizing his own moves like the Revenge Death Ball. Plus, thanks to the Saiyan DNA of his host body, he can become a Golden Great Ape via Blutz Wave exposure.
While the latter set of skills would be perfect for his standard move-set and supers, Baby’s infection ability could translate into a super move similar to Ginyu’s body possession technique.
A sure victory by one’s opponent could be overturned by a successful infection, stealing their body to give the player another shot at victory.
It would need some balancing and would probably be difficult to pull off, but it would no doubt make Baby a formidable and worthy opponent as well as a fun character to figure out how to use properly.

Pan
The daughter of Gohan and Videl and the granddaughter of Goku, Pan could have a lot of flexibility in her design should she be added to Fighterz’ roster.
Though not as flush with overpowered ki attacks as other Saiyan characters, Pan is still host to an impressive suite of martial arts and close combat skills thanks to her time training with Gohan, Videl, and Hercule.
This would make her a great addition to Fighterz’s current melee focused stable of characters, joining the likes of Yamcha and Videl as a character built for those who like to string basic attacks and combos.
Likewise, she has her robotic pal Giru to assist her in ranged combat and defense. Able to swoop in at a moment’s notice to help her, he could fire off ballistic missiles at enemies and dive in to block otherwise deadly blasts from opponents.
This could translate into a few special moves or become the backbone of her roster, with Giru acting as an integral element of her movies the same way Gohan does for Videl.

Super Android 17
A villain born from the fusion of two Android 17’s from different timelines, Super Android 17 has more than enough to make him interesting to play as.
Armed with a hulking frame and the combined power of two Android 17’s, Super Android 17 also has the ability to absorb incoming Ki attacks with an absorption barrier.
He can likewise lay waste to opponents with his Hell Storm, Flash Bomber and Electro Eclipse Bomb, hammering them with gunfire from machine guns hidden inside his arms or with the energy he absorbs from their attacks.
All of these techniques would translate perfectly into a tank-like, super-armored defensive character should he be made a DLC character.
Using his absorption ability, players could build up his super meter while taking slightly less damage in exchange for decreased speed and slower attacks. Once charged up though, he could then unleash his more powerful attacks on opponents.
This would make a deep understanding of his move set, absorption ability and super armor limits paramount to successfully using him as a main, and a character with plenty of depth for those looking to mine all they can from the game.

Uub
The apprentice of Goku and peace-loving reincarnation of Kid Buu, Uub has a surprisingly deep well of moves and abilities for ArcSys to play with in adapting him.
In addition to techniques he learned from Goku like the Kamehameha Wave, Uub can also utilize Majin Buu’s candy beam technique and general power by absorbing him to become Majin Uub.
Not only that, but he can combine these different techniques to amplify their strength, unleashing a near inescapable Candy Beam Kamehameha to better ensure his opponent is reduced to a chunk of chocolate.
As a result, he’s tailor-made for a ki attack-focused character. Players could pepper enemies from afar with ki attacks before moving in for a few melee combos, building up toward supers from both Goku and Majin Buu’s movesets.
He could also act as a beginner character for the Majin character movesets, with his Candy Beam Kamehameha allowing new players to grasp the concept before transitioning to other Majin characters with a more limited range to the Candy Beam attack.

Omega Shenron
The be-all end-all of GT villains, Omega Shenron is a must-have addition to Dragon Ball Fighterz’s roster if there ever was one.
Born from the consumption of all seven corrupted Dragon Balls, Omega Shenron incorporates abilities from all of the Shadow Dragons to decimate, torture and destroy his opponents.
This shows in his move set, with melee attacks that viciously hammer his targets before nailing them with abilities like Dragon Thunder, where he impales his opponent on his spikes before electrocuting them.
This is all a set-up for his finishing blow: The Negative Karma Ball, a condensed blast of negative energy that can flatten even the strongest adversaries.
Any and all of these moves would translate perfectly to a FighterZ move set, with Omega Shenron himself acting as a powerful balance-based character.
Players could grapple enemies to execute Dragon Thunder, unleash a slew of blunt and cruel melee combos, and then finish their opponents off with a supercharged Negative Karma Ball, all while zipping and zooming around as the pale reptilian specter.
He’s a clear pick for a DLC character through and through, and honestly a character that is long past due for being added.
