NBA 2K19 is the latest in the basketball simulation series. With it, players will be able to shoot the ball, steal the ball, do a whole bunch of stuff with that ball. But everyone wants to look flashy. Everyone wants to know how to dunk on their opponents. Here’s how to dunk the ball in NBA 2K19.

First and foremost, you need to make sure the player you’re using and controlling is actually capable of dunking. They need to have a high enough dunk stat to do so. If not, they’ll likely just shoot or perform a layup.

To perform a dunk, you need to be sprinting towards the basket. This is done by holding R2 if you’re on PS4 or RT if you’re on Xbox One. Then, you just need to press the same button you would to shoot the ball. This is Square on PS4 or X on Xbox One.

If your player has the appropriate amount of stats in his dunk ability, he will do the dunk and do it better the higher it is.

By the way, using the right stick on your controller to perform a dunk affects what kind you do. Depending on the direction you push, you’ll do a different one. You can go for as flashy as you want to be.

That’s all there is to it, though! That’s how you dunk in NBA 2K19. If you need more help with the game, might I suggest you check out our wiki for it?
