How to Cure Food Poisoning in We Happy Few

After releasing in early access in 2015, We Happy Few is finally hitting its full release, dropping players into its horrific Joy-infused world. Things are not as they seem in the world of We Happy Few, as everyone in the town is forced to take a drug that makes them delusional, and turns the horrid living conditions into a bright and cheerful English town. Your task as the game’s three different characters is to unravel the mystery of the town, and avoid the authorities as they hunt for “Downers,” which includes you. Survival elements are weaved into the gameplay and narrative of We Happy few, and that includes various status effects that can bother you, including food poisoning.

Food poisoning is bad enough to deal with in real life, but if you eat contaminated food in We Happy Few you’ll find it affecting the health and abilities of your character. The status will wear off after a while, but it gets worse before it finally goes away.

The best way to get rid of food poisoning in We Happy Few is to simply drink Sick Up Tea, which can instantly cure the status. So if you’re absolutely needing health and don’t have any other choice just make sure to have some Sick Up Tea, so you can eat the contaminated food and restore your health, then immediately do away with the food poisoning.

You’re more likely to encounter contaminated food in the poorer, more dangerous parts of the island so you probably won’t need Sick Up Tea as much once you make your way to the more affluent areas.

That’s all you need to know about food poisoning in We Happy Few. For more tips, tricks, and guides on We Happy Few make sure to search Twinfinite, or take a look at our growing wiki guide.
