How to Beat Agatha in World of Warcraft
World of Warcraft has plenty of quests, each with their own objectives and rewards. Some will send you on extermination missions, pitting you against some powerful foes. One particular quest, An Impossible Foe, has you going against a deadly foe named Agatha. The quest has gotten some flak for being a bit overtuned, “requiring” players to be at a certain class or item level. Nevertheless, the mission is still doable with enough preparation and pattern recognition. Here are some tips on how you can beat Agatha in World of Warcraft’s An Impossible Foe quest.
- Phase 1 – You’ll want to pre-pot and shower Agatha with all of your cooldown abilities immediately in this World of Warcraft quest. All the while, you have to avoid any of her incoming attacks, such as the shadow patch casts. When her imps come out to play, try stunning them with your abilities to keep them from healing their master. For the most part, you’ll just want to keep attacking Agatha and dancing around any incoming damage. You won’t have to kill the imps, but rather avoid their attacks.
- Phase 2 – Agatha will teleport to the upper part of the room. Once she’s there, she’ll try and pelt you with meteor bombs, which you’ll want to avoid at all costs. Make sure to use any speed-increasing abilities to zoom in on her as soon as possible. Use any drums and Heroism, clearing the Umbral imps to remove the immunity shield she casts. Dance around her attacks and continue whittling away her health to get to the next phase.
- Phase 3 – When she’s down to 35 percent health, Agatha will teleport to the lower end of the room. You’ll basically want to keep doing what you did in the previous phase, offing any imps that keep her sustained and break her barrier. When she starts casting Dark Fury, make sure you interrupt her.
- Phase 4 – Once she’s down to 15 percent health in World of Warcraft, Agatha will teleport back to the upper part of the room. It’s just a matter of rinse and repeat, finishing off what little health she has left. Remember to put the plague imps on the side and avoid her meteors to avoid getting killed in one shot.
To make this World of Warcraft boss fight easier, you’ll want to bring items such as the Sylvan Elixer, Lightblood Elixer, Spiced Falcosaur Omelet. For more tips and tricks on World of Warcraft, make sure to search for Twinfinite.
