Getting and Riding the Royal Vessel Boat in Final Fantasy XV
One of the newest and biggest editions to Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition and Windows Edition is the ability to control the new Royal Vessel boat. With this new vehicle, you’ll be able to sail the seas of Eos and go fishing at your leisure. It’s a great way to travel, especially if you’re already sick of the Regalia.
To get access to the Royal Vessel boat, first, you’ll need to play through the game until you get to Altissia. Cid will hand you the keys to the boat, and you’ll be able to ride it as and when you please once you reach the hotel in Altissia. You can ride the boat from the following locations: Galdin Quay, Cape Caem, Altissia.
From the Port Station at Altissia, you can board the Royal Vessel and sail around. From the captain’s chair, you can choose to either steer the boat manually or move to various anchorage points on the map. You can rest on the boat, go fishing, and take pictures as well.
