How to Farm Potatoes in Metal Gear Survive

Recommended Videos

Ensuring that your character doesn’t go hungry in Metal Gear Survive is a pretty important aspect of the whole survival element of the gameplay. Unfortunately, finding food in the game isn’t always the most straightforward thing. Fortunately, there are some potatoes you can farm pretty easily, so let’s run you through how to do exactly that.

First off, you’ll need to make sure you’re spending some time in Metal Gear Survive’s single-player campaign, at least until you rescue the nurse. Once you’ve done this, you’ll need to fast travel to Wormhole Transporter 3 and head down the hill. You should see a fridge sitting in a burnt-looking pile. Walk on over to it and you’ll find some potatoes that you can take back to camp with you.

Head back to base camp and use the Constructor terminal to build a potato farm. Once the farm has built, it’ll take about two hours to harvest, so continue on with the campaign, or jump into some co-op matches to help pass the time.

That’s all you need to know to farm potatoes in Metal Gear Survive. For more on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
