How to Play Co-op in Knack 2

Recommended Videos

Knack 2 casts you back into the shoes of the titular size-shifting character once again, in a brand new adventure that takes place a few years after the original. It is a single-player game, but if you don’t feel like going through it alone you can always invite a buddy along for some co-op. The multiplayer in Knack 2 has been much improved, this time allowing two players to actually perform unique moves by using the artifacts on each other’s bodies for powerful combo attacks.

The good news is that it’s incredibly simple to play co-op in the game. At any time, another player can grab a DualShock 4, connect it to the console, then hit the PS button and log the second player in as a new user. After that, simply hit a button for a prompt to pop up, and join in on the game. At the same time you can also drop out of a game by powering off the controller, and logging out.

Keep in mind that co-op in Knack 2 has you playing on the same screen, and doesn’t use any kind of splitscreen system. Unfortunately there’s also no form of online matchmaking or multiplayer, so you’ll have to stick to couch co-op for now.
