Minecraft Story Mode Season 2: Episode 1
EASIEST XBOX ONE ACHIEVEMENTS OF JULYÂ 2017
At this point, Telltale Games is treating its fans to pretty much an episode of one of its series every month. For July 2017, Minecraft fans saw the return of Jesse and Co. when Minecraft Story Mode Season 2’s debut episode hit the Xbox One and other platforms.
For this first episode, there are six achievements on offer totaling 200 Gamerscore. As fans of Telltale have come to expect, all you need to do to swipe the lot is simply complete the episode. Do this throughout the entirety of Season 2 and you’ll find yourself 1000 Gamerscore happier by the end. Simply play, make the decisions you want, and enjoy that classic achievement noise every time you finish a chapter.
Black the Fall
EASIEST XBOX ONE ACHIEVEMENTS OFÂ JULYÂ 2017
Black the Fall didn’t get a huge fanfare when it released in the first half of July 2017, but it’s a pretty solid sidescrolling platformer with a dark, gritty style. You’ll make friends with an abandoned robot, navigate tough platforming areas, and solve fiendishly challenging puzzles with the help of aforementioned robot buddy.
There are 14 achievements totaling 1000 Gamerscore in Black the Fall. Fortunately for achievement hunters, the game only takes a few hours to complete (depending on your skill level, of course). You’ll unlock a handful of the achievements by simply completing each of the four levels, and the rest simply require you to do small actions within the levels. This is all made a lot simpler thanks to a bunch of helpful people who have provided video guides which you can check out here. Plus, if you miss an achievement the first time around, you can use the chapter select to jump straight back to it once you’re done.
Fortnite
EASIEST XBOX ONE ACHIEVEMENTS OFÂ JULYÂ 2017
While Fortnite might only be in early access right now, there’s still a ton of content for players to sink their teeth into. For those unacquainted with the title, players are dropped into a world filled with a bunch of creatures desperate to send you to an untimely end. As such, you’ll need to band together with other players to scavenge materials, craft giant forts, and fight back the enemy hordes.
Fortnite has the full 1000 Gamerscore split over 45 achievements. While this number may initially sound daunting, unlocking most of these is fairly straightforward. Simply play through the game, complete missions, craft structures, and upgrade weapons and you’ll soon have a bunch of Fortnite’s achievement list unlocked. While some, such as Guardian Angel – requiring you to save 10,000 Survivors in successful missions – or Talented Builder – build 500,000 Structures in successful missions – will be a serious grind, you’ll still likely come away with a hefty chunk of Gamerscore once you’re all done with the game. Plus, with this being an online co-op experience, the grind is way less mind-numbing when you’ve got some friends by your side.
What Remains of Edith Finch
EASIEST XBOX ONE ACHIEVEMENTS OFÂ JULYÂ 2017
Having initially released on PC and PS4 back in April, Giant Sparrow’s narrative-driven experience, What Remains of Edith Finch, finally arrived on Xbox One on July 19. You’ll assume control of Edith Finch as she explores her old family home and recounts the final moments of deceased family members. It’s atmospheric, beautiful, and absolutely worth your time… especially if you’re after some easy achievements.
What Remains of Edith Finch’s 10 achievements each come in at 100 Gamerscore, and they all don’t really require too much to grab. Ranging from simply looking in all the peepholes and telescopes in the game long enough to hear Edith’s commentary, to clearing balls off a pool table in one family member’s story, there’s nothing to cause you any major problems. If you do get stuck, there’s a bunch of video guides to show you exactly what you need to do, too.
