Wii U –Â The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild
We are only a few short days away from The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild releasing upon the world and players are beginning to gear up for their next adventure into the wondrous lands of Hyrule. However, for many fans this will be reliant on if they decided to purchase the Switch as The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild will be a launch title for Nintendo’s newest system. While this title is going to be on Nintendo’s next gen system, it will also be available for those who own a Wii U but at the cost of some alterations. The most notable will no doubt be the graphical differences between both the Switch and Wii U versions.
If you plan on playing The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild on the Switch then your game will be rendered at 900p, while the Wii U is set at 720p. They will also have different lighting, textures, and models within the world itself due to the Wii U being far less powerful. Yet, both versions will have the same framerate and content, so if you do not own a Switch this is a great alternative for playing The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. Especially since this marks the first time that Nintendo has created a full 3D open word for players to explore and fight in. Both versions of Breath of the Wild will release on March 3, 2017.
