Spirit and Morale – Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers
There are a lot of statistics and abilities that players need to keep track of in Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers. One of the lesser known ones is called “Spirit.” This base ability can be found on all of your heroes and even some of the weapons they wield as a bonus. Unlike Strength (STR) which increases your damage or Dexterity (DEX) which raises your chance to hit a target, Spirit (SPRT) is all about the morale levels of your troops in a battle.
One of the features brought over to Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers from the core franchise is the concept of morale and how that will affect troops fighting on the battlefield. This ever looming status ability is determined by how many victories and losses you suffer in a single battle. The better this stat is, the more damage you will cause based upon your Spirit status and how much you’ve upgraded it in the Skill Board. However, the same will go for enemy units as they’re affected by Spirit as well.
Remember, units in Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers can come out of nowhere sometimes and raise your enemy’s morale, so always be alert during a battle. If you want to check out whose side currently has the higher morale, there is a bar located in the top right of your screen. Inside are two colors, blue for your forces and red for the enemies, and whoever has the majority control of the bar has the stronger morale. Managing this is key to your victory, as a high morale will activate any Spirit increased weapons or abilities in Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers. If you are in desperate need of raising troop morale, consider focusing on officers over core units, as they’ll have a higher impact on that bar.
That’s all you need to know about Spirit in the game. For more tips, guides, and walkthroughs check out our ever-expanding Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers wiki.
