Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter

Sherlock Holmes, along with his dear old pal Watson, is back at it again, this time with an even darker mystery to solve as he becomes entangled in yet another twisted plot. For fans, it’s everything they could ask for, with new ways to make connections via brand new mechanics. It’s also a great way to boost your Xbox Gamerscore with some relatively easy to obtain achievements.

In order to obtain all of Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter’s achievements, you’ll have to play through the entire game without skipping anything. That means beating the game along with solving all of its puzzles and completing every single mini-game available. Since guides and walkthroughs are a thing, you should have no problem with completing this task.

Do note that the Lawn Bowls Champion achievement requires you to do particularly well in a specific mini-game, but since you’re able to replay cases to your heart’s content, not even this should keep you from reaching your goal.

Minecraft: Story Mode – Episode 6: A Portal to Mystery

Minecraft: Story Mode, achievements

Minecraft: Story Mode is yet another series that falls under the Telltale Banner, and that means that achievements are very easy to come by. With June came the release of this particular series’ sixth episode, A Portal to Mystery, along with a new list of easy to grab achievements.

Just how easy are they to grab, you ask? Well, you simply have to complete the episode. There are no special tasks, no hidden items to locate. Just jump in, play, and finish. Should only take you a couple of hours and then you can move on to your next conquest.

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst

achievements

DICE’s parkour-centric heroine Faith is back in Mirror’s Edge Catalyst. In a reboot, players are treated to the origins of our hero along with a new take on the city of Glass. An open world awaits fans looking to see just how well they can navigate the rooftops as one of the best couriers to ever lace up a pair of kicks. As you go for a run, you can also nab a nice healthy list of achievements on your Xbox One.

We will be honest, you will need to develop a bit of skill in order to obtain a 3-Star score in each of the challenges scattered around the map, but patience and practice will win out there. As far as collectibles go (there are recordings, gridLeaks, and documents), you can always use a guide to help you clean those up, and all missions are replayable.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens

LEGO star wars, achievements

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens brings players right into the events from the blockbuster film, while also taking fans into parts of the story that are brand new. With new mechanics and features to help make this latest entry into the LEGO series one of the best, there’s plenty of fun to be had, and lots of achievements to grab too.

Like all LEGO games before it, achievements in Star Wars: The Force Awakens are pretty straight forward. For starters, you have to beat the game (that’s a no-brainer). Other than that, you just need to go on a collecting spree. The hardest parts of this segment will be finding all of the Red Bricks and Minikits, but a simple search online will help you with that part. Do keep in mind that although nabbing these achievements isn’t difficult, it can be time-consuming. Expect to tackle this mountain over the course of a few days at the very least.

Inside

Inside, indie, achievements

After mastering atmosphere with Limbo, Playdead managed to create yet another simple game that provides a gripping backdrop and tons of tension. Players navigate a dystopian world as a small child, and that’s all we should say, for fear of spoiling. It’s dark, moody, and one damn fine experience. It’s also got some pretty neat achievements hiding within its intriguing confines.

Now we’re going to be upfront about this, all of Inside’s achievements are tied to secrets in the game, meaning you may not just spot them on a regular playthrough. However, with the help of online guides, and the fact that you can load from any checkpoint in the game, cleanup is very easy. Even if you decided to play the entire game again to nab everything, the game is only around four hours long. That’s a simple night’s worth of boosting that ever-growing Gamerscore of yours.
