June is the month of E3, so it’s not surprising that a majority of the month is very light on big names. That doesn’t mean these weeks will be completely barren, though. Whether your looking for an action game, mystery, shooter, or RPG, there’s a little something for everyone as one of the biggest industry shows takes to the stage.

Week One (Jun. 1 – 4)

There’s a lot of indie content as June kicks off. Players on Xbox One can finally enjoy the release of Elite Dangerous: Horizons as they take to the skies and explore space. Meanwhile, Carmageddon sees new life with Max Damage on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Nintendo is back in action for week two of June 2016. A brand new Kirby game comes out on the 3DS, giving the pink fluff an awesome new mech suit. Sherlock Holmes returns with a brand new mystery to solve, but it may just be Faith in Mirror’s Edge Catalyst that steals the show. Players will be able to free run through an open world as they upgrade Faith’s abilities and uncover her origins.

Week three is very light, but it shouldn’t be overlooked. Dead by Daylight transforms how players experience survival horror with asymmetrical multiplayer, and the Dark Brotherhood finally descends upon Tamriel in The Elder Scrolls Online.

Week Four (Jun. 19 – 25)

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, the crossover between Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei, finally releases in the West, giving Wii owners plenty to be excited about. Capcom’s Umbrella Corps, a spin-off game based on Resident Evil, allows players to face off in multiplayer battles in the infected world. Deadlight is another game to watch out for, as it receives a Director’s Cut with new content, upgraded visuals, and a tougher challenge.

June 2016 finishes strong with some highly anticipated titles. LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens throws the famous minifigs right into the action of the recent blockbuster film. Star Ocean V: Integrity and Faithlessness brings all the beauty and depth fans of the series have come to love. The Technomancer is a new action RPG set on Mars, and players will customize their own fighting style and gear as they uncover the mysteries of the red planet.
