How to Save Kaitlyn in The Quarry
It may not be apparent at first, but there are certain events that predate any potential Kaitlyn might face in The Quarry. Thankfully, we are here to help.
Chapter 1
Abigail
When it is time to take to assume control of Abigail, your first decision to make would be to either break into the cabins or leave your bags behind. To ensure Kaitlyn or Abigail live to see another day, be sure to break the lock. Inside, you will find a stuffed toy as well, be sure to keep this too as it will become important later on.
Chapter 9
Dylan
We jump forward towards the end of the game, as Dylan and Kaitlyn head to the scrapyard. Here, once you start operating the crane, a monster will attempt to devour both counsellors. Choose to warn Kaitlyn of the impending attack, and succeed in the QTEs. Be sure to also choose to sound the horn, that will help keep both counsellors safe.
If somehow Kaitlyn gets bitten, the only way to save her will be to kill Silas at the end of the game.
Chapter 10
Kaitlyn
The final hurdle in your journey to keep Kaitlyn alive in The Quarry will come in Chapter 10. The monster will attack in the lodge, and you will have to choose to get silver ammunition from Abigail and Emma, or hide in the kitchen. The former option will require you to aim true and kill the beast, and for the latter, use the stuffed animal as a distraction to lure the beast into the freezer.
Either way, that will keep Kaitlyn alive for the conclusion of the story.
