This sword is a five-star weapon that was introduced back when we were in the early exploration days of the Inazuma update. And just like many other five-star gear items, the Mistplitter Reforged can only be obtained through a wish.
Not only that, but it must also be present on the weapon banner that you wish on. You can’t obtain the sword randomly in the regular weapon banner pool. It works just like a five-star character in that way.
The Mistsplitter Reforged isn’t on the current weapon banner, so you won’t be able to pull for it at the time of writing, but it may return when Kamisato Ayaka comes back in the second half of the 2.6 character banners.
Is the Mistsplitter Reforged Good?
The simple answer here is yes, the sword is a great one to add to your collection. This is especially true if you have Ayaka on your roster, as it’s the perfect weapon for her.
The main stat that it raises is CRIT Damage, which is ideal for Ayaka since her Burst hits many times. If her CRIT Rate and CRIT Damage are high, she becomes a DPS monster.
The sword also raises Elemental Damage for the character’s elemental type, which is perfect since Ayaka does a crazy amount of Cryo damage, especially when she’s given the Blizzard Strayer Artifact set.
It’s also a great sword in the hands of Keqing for Electro damage and even Kazuha if you choose to use him as a more Anemo DPS-focused character.
