Elden Ring: How to Get to Consecrated Snowfield

Elden Ring is the latest action-RPG from FromSoftware, and just like in previous From games, there are quite a few optional areas that you could completely miss during your playthrough if you don’t know what you’re looking for. Here’s how to get the Consecrated Snowfield in Elden Ring.

Getting to Consecrated Snowfield in Elden Ring

  1. Progress through the story until you reach Liurnia of the Lakes.

  2. Head to the southeastern part of the region to find the Village of the Albinaurics.

  3. From the Site of Grace, head up the short hill and beat the mist enemy.

  4. Just past him, keep to your right and look out for a pot. Roll into it to reveal Albus the Albinauric.

    Before dying, Albus will hand over one half of the Haligtree medallion.

  5. From the Laskyar Ruins, head west to find the Lake Crystal Cave dungeon and clear it out.

  6. Clearing the dungeon will lead you to Latenna the Albinauric, who tells you that the other half of the medallion is in Castle Sol in the Forbidden Lands.

  7. Progress through the story until you reach the Altus Plateau and clear Leyndell, the Royal Capital.

  8. Head east to take the Grand Lift of Rold to reach the Forbidden Lands.

  9. Head up north in the Forbidden Lands to find Castle Sol.

    You’ll need to clear out the dungeon and defeat the area boss, Commander Niall.

  10. Upon defeating Commander Niall, you can access the final area in Castle Sol to find a chest containing the other half of the Haligtree medallion.

  11. Go back to the Grand Lift of Rold and choose the option to hoist the secret medallion.

  12. Progress through the short tunnel where you’ll fight several vulgar militia and octopus enemies, and you’ll quickly reach the Consecrated Snowfield Site of Grace.

The Consecrated Snowfield is a completely optional area in Elden Ring, and it’s home to some of the game’s toughest bosses, so make sure you’re well-prepared before heading there.
