The Dub is an exotic-rarity variant of the Double Barrel Shotgun weapon in Fortnite. It largely works the same as the Double Barrel Shotgun, but also has a powerful knock-back effect on the enemy you land a shot on, as well as yourself unless you fire it when crouching. It’s a perfect weapon for close-quarters combat, with the potential to eliminate an enemy with a blast from each of its barrels. As such, some players may be wondering how and where to get ‘The Dub’ in Fortnite.
Getting ‘The Dub’ in Fortnite
The Dub can be bought from Bunker Jonesy for 600 Gold Bars. Bunker Jonesy himself is found in the very south of The Joneses named location on the east side of the map.
We found him standing in the doorway to the trailer here, but he can also be walking around the area nearby.
When you find Bunker Jonesy, press X/ Square/ E/ Y to interact with him and then select ‘The Dub’ from the radial menu that appears at the bottom of the screen. It’s the middle option of the three.
Press X/ Square/E /Y again when it’s selected and, as long as you’ve got the 600 Gold Bars required, you’ll automatically add it to your inventory.
It’s worth noting now that ‘The Dub’ cannot be found from supply drops, chests, or rare chests in Fortnite. The only other way to get the weapon is to pick it up from an eliminated player who had purchased it themselves.
