New World is an ambitious pirate-themed MMORPG developed and published by Amazon Games, and it’s been making waves on Steam ever since its official release a couple weeks back. Getting the Amrine Tuning Orb in New World
As you hit the mid 20s, you’ll eventually unlock a main story quest called Destiny Unearthed. This quest will task you with entering the Amrine Excavation, which is the very first dungeon you can play through in the game. As you follow the main story, you’ll also receive the Amrine Tuning Orb, which is required to even enter the dungeon in the first place.
However, the Amrine Tuning Orb is a one-use consumable item, and once you’ve used it to enter the dungeon, it’ll be gone from your inventory. If you want to run the dungeon again, you’ll need another Tuning Orb, and these can only be obtained through crafting at a Stonecutting Table.
Here are the ingredients you need to craft an Amrine Tuning Orb in New World:
- 10 Corrupted Slivers
- Iron Chisel
- 50 Stone Blocks
- 1 Eternal Heart

They can also be obtained through dungeons, so this should be too much of a problem. Iron Chisels can be bought from your faction NPC vendor, while the Stone Blocks are crafted at the Stonecutting Table with rocks.
As for the Eternal Heart, you’ll need 50 Life Motes, Death Motes, and Soul Motes. With all 150 Motes, you can craft it at the Stonecutting Table as well, and you’ll be able to craft the Tuning Orb. It’s a lot of grinding just to be able to enter the dungeon again, so it’s recommended that you try to group up with newer players who have gotten their Orb through quests, and help them clear it.
