Crossing Star Wars over with just about anything will make it 1000 times cooler, especially when it comes to other stuff that is already badass. So when one Instagram user started creating Empire soldiers that look like Samurai, it was a given that the end result would look amazing.
That combination can be seen in full effect in a recent post to Empire_of_Samurai’s Instagram. In this compilation, the page shows off three amazing pieces of work from artist and photography Eugene Feliciano, also known as Bobasaurusfett.
To make things easier, we’ve compiled every single image into one gallery for you below. You’ll see a lot of awesome samurai variations of characters, including Darth Vader, Boba Fett, and Din “The Mandalorian” Djarin, each sporting their own unique poses and weapons.
A deeper look into Feliciano shows that he has been creating realistic toy photography for a while now, with his accounts featuring plenty of shots of Star Wars, Ghost of Tsushima, and Horizon Zero Dawn toys that look so good it is hard to tell that they aren’t real.
If you’re interested in more of Feliciano’s work, be sure to check out his Instagram, Artstation, and Twitter accounts. If it is more Star Wars content you’re after, we’ve got plenty of that down below too.
Those articles include a trailer for the Star Wars Redemption fan project, a look at Star Wars: Visions, and info about the SWTOR Legacy of the Sith expansion. We’ve also got a lot of personality and trivia based quizzes for the franchise as well, so be sure to check them out.
