Nier Replicant follows a fairly standard RPG structure: you’ll have a main story to follow, as well as tons of optional side quests you can complete along the way. Unfortunately, most of these optional quests are actually just fetch quests, which means they usually require you to go grind for materials, then bring them back to an NPC. Here’s how to get and use Wheat in Nier Replicant.
Getting Wheat in Nier Replicant
Wheat is actually a really good source of money in Nier Replicant, but make sure to keep at least one on you if you’re planning on finishing Yonah’s cooking side quest in the first half of the game. Wheat isn’t really used for anything else other than that side quest, so once it’s out of the way, you’re free to sell it for some extra income.
It can be obtained simply by purchasing it from the ingredients store in the village for 500G. Alternatively, you can buy the Wheat Seedlings from the florist in the village for 50G each instead, and just grow them yourself. By cultivating the plots of land outside your house, you can plant crops and sell your harvests for money. Do note, however, that it does take a bit of time to grow, so be careful not to advance to the second half of the story while waiting for them to grow. You can speed up this process by using Speed Fertilizer on the soil, but you have to do this before actually planting your crops.
That’s all you need to know about how to get and use wheat in Nier Replicant. Be sure to search for Twinfinite or check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
