That’s why we’re here with this guide. Below you’ll find a quick rundown of who this character is, what her role is in the larger shared universe of Nier and Drakengard, and more.

Who Is Accord in Nier Replicant? Answered

Though she’s mentioned in Nier Replicant, Accord is actually a character from the Drakengard series. Specifically, she’s a member of the cast from Drakengard 3.

An android created while the old world of humans still existed, she observes and narrates the adventures of Drakengard 3’s protagonist, Zero. She carries around a bag with her that holds a variety of objects, and can call in for support from an unknown source via a cell phone.

She can also access and exist in multiple different timelines, appearing in the various different ending lines seen in Drakengard 3. Being that she’s an android, this could mean different versions of her existed for each one, though nothing has been confirmed on this topic.

Does Accord Appear in the Nier Games?

As for whether Accord has been seen in the flesh in Nier Replicant or Nier Automata, the answer is no.

Accord hasn’t reappeared since her role in Drakengard 3. There’s no way to track her down in the remastered version of the first game, and she is only mentioned in Automata by the Weapons Merchant and a flyer.

However, this doesn’t mean she won’t show up in future installments in the series. She is a fairly beloved character among the fanbase, and the success of Nier Automata means there could very well be future games with a focus on androids.
