Incredible Video Replaces Mario With the Scary Piano From Super Mario 64

The piano from Big Boo’s Haunt in Super Mario 64 is by far the scariest part of that entire game.

Let me set the scene. You’re already on edge just being in Big Boo’s Haunt. You have Boos constantly harassing you, a creepy circus going on in the basement, and just a miasma of general uneasiness permeating everywhere throughout the level.

Then when you least expect it, a seemingly innocent-looking piano in a room just comes to life out of nowhere and takes a massive chunk out of your health. The initial shock of this moment will live rent-free in your nightmares forever and make you permanently distrust pianos.

What if the scary piano was the hero all along? Well, it’s definitely not, but at least in this YouTube video from prominent Mario YouTuber, Kaze Emanuar, it can live out its fantasy of being the star.

Behold a truncated playthrough of Super Mario 64 as the scary piano from Big Boo’s Haunt. Warning, you might shed a tear at the ending.
