How to Change Clothes in Cyberpunk 2077

No one is out there wearing lame clothes in Cyberpunk 2077. Anyone who is worth knowing has some kind of style to them and you’ll want to keep up, obviously.

To change your clothes press the Options button on PS4 or Menu button on Xbox One and go to the ‘Inventory’ tab. On the right-hand side of this screen, you’ll have a number of different slots for Hat, Mask, Outer Torso, Inner Torso, Lower Body, Shoes, and more.

Simply select the slot which corresponds to the item of clothing you want to change, and then press X/A. Then select the item of clothing you want V to wear, and voila, V’ll have a fresh new look.

It’s worth pointing out that you’ll only be able to equip things you’ve got in your Inventory. If a piece of clothing is in your Stash, you’ll need to move it into your Inventory before you equip it.

How to Get More Clothes

At some point, though, you’ll want to get some new outfits and clothes and keep your style fresh. You can get new outfits and clothes by heading to any of the ‘Clothing’ shops around Night City. These are marked on your map with a Jacket icon, as shown in the image below.

Head inside and you’ll interact with the NPC behind the counter. You’ll then be able to browse their wares and choose what clothing offers you a boost in armor stats… and also looks great.

Clothes can also be obtained by picking them up from dead enemies, or found in loot boxes scattered around Night City. These can be difficult to find, however, as they won’t show up on your map.
