Phasmophobia: How to Get & Use Bone Evidence

Developed by Kinetic Games, Phasmophobia is the latest popular horror game to hit Steam early access, and it’s the perfect game to play with your friends during this spooky season. However, even after you’ve completed the training level and done your first few maps, there are still tons of little features and mechanics that the game never really explains to you. Here’s how to get and use bone evidence in Phasmophobia.

Early on in the game, you’ll definitely struggle. With no money at level 1, you’ll need to complete a few levels to try to earn some so you can get better gear for future runs. The good news is that it’s actually pretty easy to make money with just the photography camera that you start out with.

By taking pictures of paranormal occurrences, you can rack up money pretty quickly and by the time you get to the higher levels, you’ll be able to purchase better equipment. One of the best ways to earn money is by finding bone evidence.

Getting and Using Bone Evidence in Phasmophobia

Whenever you’re exploring a haunted locale, you’ll want to keep an eye on the floor. Look out for a white bone just lying around on the floor, and when you do spot it, take out the photography camera and take a photo of it. That alone will give you an extra $10 when you leave the level. In addition to that, if you have a free slot in your inventory, you can also pick it up with the E button.

Bringing the bone evidence back, along with the photo of it, will reward you with even more money at the end of the level.

Like most other things in the game, though, the spawn rate of the bone evidence seems to be pretty random. We’ve gone through levels where we just couldn’t seem to find any bone evidence at all, so it doesn’t seem like a guaranteed drop. Still, with how easy it is to earn money from it, it’s still worth your time to scout the area for it before leaving.

That’s all you need to know about how to get and use bone evidence in Phasmophobia. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
