Genshin Impact has 24 playable characters, but only a handful of them are available as part of the game’s main storyline. While you will get to experience most of them for a short time, actually keeping them in your party requires you to engage with the Wish gacha mechanic. Here’s how to get Klee in Genshin Impact.
How to Get Klee in Genshin Impact
As we’ve alluded to above, like virtually every character in Genshin Impact, Klee is only available as a pull from one of the game’s Wish banners. The Wish system is the gacha mechanic that unlocks at Adventure Rank Level 5, after you’ve spoken with the Knights of Favonius in Mondstadt.
Making a Wish requires either Acquaint or Intertwined Fate, which is a currency you’ll purchase in exchange for Primogems. Primogems are a reward for basically every activity in Genshin Impact, from questing and chest opening to watching in-game tutorials, but you can also buy them with Genesis Crystals, the game’s premium currency.
In the case of Klee in Genshin Impact, during the game’s beta there was a promotional banner that offered her as a potential option. That has since disappeared, so we presume that those who want Klee now are best to pull the standard Wish banner called Wanderlust Invocation, which requires Acquaint Fate.
To be clear, though, we’re not 100% sure that Klee is part of the character pool for Wanderlust Invocation. Some information we’ve found on various wiki sites suggests she isn’t involved, which is a little strange.
Update 10/19/2020: It seems Klee wasn’t part of the Wanderlust Invocation banner since she’s now being added as the next promotional banner starting from Oct. 20. Just as was the case for Venti in the last promotional banner, from Oct. 20 you’re best chances of getting Klee will be via her promotional banner, which will require Intertwined Fate.
In any case, you’re just going to have to roll the dice and hope you receive Klee. Certainly, you’re better pulling Wanderlust Invocation than Ballad of Goblets, since that is somewhat rigged toward pulling Venti as your 5-Star reward.
Sorry we couldn’t be more help, but information on Klee is hard to come by and we haven’t yet got her ourselves. For more guides on Genshin Impact, check out Twinfinite’s wiki page.
