First of all, we get a new music video titled “As a route of ray” by Japanese superstar musician Takanori Nishikawa, which you may know as T.M.Revolution.

The same song was used for a new TV commercial released for the game. You can check out both below.

On top of this, we also get the announcement of a brand new anime series titled “Azure Lane: Bisoku Zenshin!” based on the game’s popular yonkoma (4-panel) manga.

You can check out the teaser trailer and the video introducing the theme song below. It will air in Japan in January 2021.

Incidentally, earlier during the 25-hour long livestream, Yostar revealed the next major event based on the Sakura Empire.

If you’re unfamiliar with Azur Lane, it’s is a free-to-play mobile horizontal scrolling shooter/RPG hybrid currently available for iOS and Android.

If you’re not into mobile games, Idea Factory International recently launched Azur Lane: Crosswave for PS4 and PC, with a Nintendo Switch version coming to Japan next week. The western version will soon finally get the DLC shipgirls.
