During a livestream from Japan, Muv-Luv developer âge revealed the first teaser trailer of the upcoming Muv-Luv Alternative anime series.
The trailer was showcased behind closed doors at the end of the “Still Breathing”anniversary event a few months ago, but it was never publicly broadcasted.
We get to see a Type-00F Takemikazuchi mecha as it flies over a horde of BETA aliens while leading a squad of Type-00A.
It looks absolutely awesome despite the fact that the frame rate of the livestream was really choppy. we’ll update it with the official upload as soon as it’s available.
This should be enough for a first look, but having seen the original in action when I visited âge in January, I can tell you that it’s even better when the frame rate is smooth.
Do keep in mind that this was created as a proof of concept and it’s not necessarily representative of the final anime. This video was never intended for public showing, and the developer decided to finally reveal it to express their gratitude to the fans for their support (and about 8,000 retweets on Twitter).
Unfortunately, it’ll be a while longer before we get to see more.
If you’re interested in the Muv-Luv anime, you should definitely read our interview with creator Kouki Yoshimune-san and Producer Kazutoshi Matsumura who talked in-depth about what we can expect from the animation itself and the future games coming for the franchise.
During the first day of the event yesterday, âge revealed the first official trailer of the mecha action game code-named Project Mikhail and the upcoming Steam release of Muv-Luv Unlimited The Day After.
Earlier today we also saw the first trailer of the action-RPG code-named Project Immortal.
Yoshimune-san recently revealed an updated version of another relevant image board for Muv-Luv Integrate , explained another showcasing a few custom TSF , one showing a dire situation in New York , and another focusing on heroines from past games , and one focusing on Yuuko Kouzuki .
We also have a detailed report of the 20th-anniversary event recently hosted in Tokyo, which was rich with announcements, including the reveal of Muv-Luv Integrate , the announcement of the action game code-named Project Mikhail , an update on Muv-Luv Unlimited The Day After and on the Android version of the original trilogy , the tease of the reboot of Kimiga Nozomu Eien , and the announcement of the Muv-Luv Alternative anime.
