Every soldier you’ll get in Phoenix Point comes with their own name and character model to start. In order to change it, head to any of the bases in the game.
Once at the base, go to the personnel tab at the bottom. Select whatever character that’d you’d like to change the name of and double click their name.
Type in whatever you want the name to be – even adding in nicknames in quotations – and then you’re all set.
Right next to their name, you also have the option to customize their appearance as well.
All of these changes will be automatically changed and saved as soon as they are made.
