This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

Time flies when you’re having fun, and so it can be hard to believe that we’re already at the point of week 3 challenges in Fortnite Chapter 2. This week’s mission is called ‘Forged in Slurp’ and, honestly, doesn’t seem to have that much of a prevalent theme throughout its challenges. Here’s how to complete all Fortnite week 3 challenges in Chapter 2.

As has been the case since the beginning of Season X, players will need to complete one challenge before unlocking the next one. In other words, you can’t just complete these in whatever order you want.

To help you out, we’ve broken down each challenge in a little more detail below, giving you tips and tricks on how to beat each one so you can have the entire Fortnite Forged in Slurp Mission done and dusted in no time.

Search Chests at Slurpy Swamp or Retail Row

Honestly, there’s not a whole lot we can tell you for this one. Simply land at either Slurpy Swamp or Retail Row and get busy searching as many chests as you possibly can. Team Rumble is the best mode to complete this challenge, as you’ll have fewer ‘enemies’ to compete against for chests.

Eliminate Opponents With a Weapon of Each Rarity – Fortnite Week 3 Challenges

Again, not a whole lot that needs to be said about this. You’ll need to get an elimination with a weapon of each rarity. Rarity is reflected by color, as well as the star rating of a weapon. We’ve listed all rarities and their colors down below:

  • Common – Grey
  • Uncommon – Green
  • Rare – Blue
  • Epic – Purple
  • Legendary – Gold

This is another challenge that’s actually pretty easy to complete in Team Rumble thanks to respawns being enabled.

Upgrade an Item at a Weapon Upgrade Bench

Weapon upgrade benches can be found in most named locations and essentially allow you to hand over materials to increase your weapon’s rarity by one.

As shown in the screenshot above, they’re fairly easy to spot. You’ll need to make sure you’ve got plenty of materials before approaching one, though, as the higher the rarity of your weapon, the more expensive it is to upgrade with materials.

Dance at Compact Cars, Lockie’s Lighthouse and a Weather Station – Fortnite Week 3 Challenges

This format for Fortnite challenges has been around for quite some time. Fortunately, we’ve got these down to a tee now, and have already tracked down the Compact Cars, Lockie’s Lighthouse, and Weather Station you’ll need to dance at to complete this challenge.

You can check out our complete guide here.

Deal Damage with Common Weapons

There’s not a whole lot to this Forged in Slurp challenge either. Simply deal 500 damage (the equivalent of five eliminations of players with just health) with grey weapons and you’ll complete the challenge.

Assault Rifles are always a good option here, as they’re effective at a variety of ranges.

Mark an Uncommon, Rare and Epic Item – Fortnite Week 3 Challenges

Using the ‘Ping’ system in-game, simply mark a green, blue, and purple item. These don’t have to be done in the same match, and marking items is as simple as pressing left on the d-pad when looking at the item.

Eliminate Opponents at EGO Outposts or Retail Row

Three eliminations at either the EGO Outposts or Retail Row should be fairly easy. EGO Outposts are small little camps with large fences that run around their perimeter.

Your best bet to complete this challenge is to head to Retail Row, though. This is because it’s an obvious, named location that a majority of players will head to just to get the challenge done.

Search Ammo Boxes at Landmarks – Fortnite Week 3 Challenges

This is an incredibly easy one. Remember all of those locations that weren’t quite named locations, but were still significant enough you had to visit them to remove the fog from the map at the beginning of Chapter 2?

Well, simply return to some of these and open seven ammo boxes. Again, Team Rumble is the best game mode for wrapping this one up quickly.

Search Supply Drops in Different Matches

Supply Drops are those big ol’ blue boxes that fall from the sky courtesy of giant yellow balloons. You’ll hear a beeping and whooshing noises as they begin to drop each time there’s a new storm circle.

At this point, look into the sky and see if there’s one dropping near you. They’re also marked on your map once they’ve landed, so you can always search one or two of these in the closing moments of a game.

Deal Damage with Legendary Weapons – Fortnite Week 3 Challenges

Finally, you’ll have to deal 250 damage with Legendary weapons. As always, Team Rumble is your best bet for completing this Forged in Slurp mission in one match, as its respawns provide a more forgiving environment.
