Today Atlus released a video focusing on the upcoming game by Vanillaware 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.
First of all, we get a trailer with an overview of the game, showcasing the three parts including story, battle, and archive.
We also take a look at the rich cast of heroes that we’ll be able to play and and the mecha that they’ll pilot.
After that, it’s time for a surprise: the first early purchase bonus of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim in Japan will be a re-release for PS4 of the classic Princess Crown.
Released in 1997 for Sega Saturn, developed by Atlus and published by Sega itself, Princess Crown was an action JRPG directed by Vanillaware president and character designer George Kamitani.
This re-release will be a port of the PSP version launched in 2005.
The second surprise is another bonus in the form of a PS4 theme featuring art by George Kamitani himself.
We also take a look at the papercraft Machine Soldier included in the Premium Box edition for Japan.
Lastly, a demo for 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is coming. It will be released this month in Japan and it’ll include the first three hours of the game. Players will also be able to transfer their save to the final game.
You can check out the trailer and the full video below.
If you want to see more, you can check out the latest gameplay, the latest trailer, an extensive batch of screenshots that showcased new characters, previous gallery of screenshots, more images and artwork, another gameplay reveal, and an earlier trailer.
Just a few days ago we also learned a lot more about the enemy kaiju that we’ll have to fight in the game.
13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim releases in Japan on November 28, 2019, exclusively for PS4.
A western release has also been announced by Atlus USA a long while ago, but we don’t know much about it just yet.
Vanillaware is also working on another game, and they plan to officially reveal it after the release of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.
