Ghost Recon Breakpoint: How to Lean & Aim Around Corners

Shooting down bad guys is going to be the order of the day in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. How you go about that is entirely up to you. You might want to run in all-guns-blazing, or take a more strategic, tactical approach. This might involve using cover to lean and aim around corners to give yourself a bit of extra protection from incoming fire. Here’s how to lean and aim around corners in Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

Leaning Around Corners in Ghost Recon Breakpoint

Fortunately, the game actually makes this incredibly easy to do. All you need to do is walk over to a wall or a bit of cover and either stand (if it’s tall enough) or crouch behind it. Your character will automatically use this to protect themselves.

Now, move to the end of a wall, or if you’re simply wanting to peer over the wall, push your analog stick in towards the cover. You should now see a directional arrow appear facing away from the wall next to your reticle (or facing upwards if you want to peer over).

Press L2 on PS4 or LT on Xbox One and you’ll lean in the direction of the arrow, and aim around corners or cover. Let go of L2/ LT and your character will take cover back behind the wall or object once again.

Effectiveness

Leaning around corners to aim is a great way of keeping your health in-tact when you’re coming under heavy fire. The third-person camera and minimap allow you to pinpoint enemy locations while in cover, meaning you can quickly lean and aim around corners, deal damage or drop an enemy, and quickly retreat without taking a hit.
