Borderlands 3 Pyre of Stars Crew Challenge Locations: Dead Claptrap and Legendary Hunt

The Pyre of Stars is one of the last areas you’ll travel to in Borderlands 3, and like the areas before it, there are a few Crew Challenges to track down. That’s why we’re here with a guide covering the location of each one.

Every Pyre of Stars Crew Challenge Location in Borderlands 3

The Pyre of Stars is one of the least densely packed areas in Borderlands 3 when it comes to Crew Challenges, holding only two locations for you to find.

One holds the last Dead Claptrap needed to help Claptrap build a companion, while the other holds what should be the last Legendary Hunt you need to embark on for Hammerlock.

However, given how quickly the main story mission pulls you through the area, it can be easy to pass these locations without realizing it. As such, use the directions and maps below to make sure you find them in one fell swoop.

Borderlands 3 Pyre of Stars Crew Challenge Locations – Dead Claptrap

The Dead Claptrap can be found on the isolated platform at the top of the map, which you gain access to after placing the second Vault Key during the main mission. You’ll reach it by using an air vent to launch yourself from the lefthand section of the map.

After reaching the isolated platform, head to the bottom portion. You can drop down to a ledge below where you’ll find some ammo chests and the Dead Claptrap.

Where to find the Pyre of Stars’ Legendary Hunt

The area’s legendary hunt can be found in a small side section that is reachable after you activate the final Vault Key during the main mission.

As you’re looping back around to the start of the area, keep an eye out to your left for the section’s entrance. Note that it does come before the drop down toward the area’s entrance, so don’t jump off the ledge until you’ve found the area.

Once you see the opening, go through it and take on the Legendary Swarm Host. You’ll complete the challenge after you’ve killed it for good.

That’s every crew challenge in Borderlands 3’s Pyre of Stars area. For more on the game, check out our Borderlands 3 guide wiki as well as our list of things to do after you’ve beaten the game.
