First, let’s be clear about where the Triple Booster Sonic Cyclone is.

You’ll need to head over to the Meridian Metroplex on Promethea. Specifically, to an area locked away behind a yellow forcefield, which is found by heading underneath an archway with ‘Meridian’ written above it (it’s left of the Malawan building if you’re looking directly at that).

We’ve marked it on the map below for your convenience:

Right, so now you’ve found the yellow forcefield you’ll need to open it. The trick is to destroy several valves or plugs that run along a pipeline above.

There are three in total and they are all very close by. The first is basically directly above you if you’re standing in front of the forcefield, while the other two are just outside the entrance.

To give you a better idea, we’ve highlighted their approximate location on the image below:

Once you have shot all of these out, there will be a brief pause before you’ll hear an explosion and, voila, the forcefield will fail and you can enter to retrieve your new whip.

That should be everything you need to know about how to get the Triple Booster Sonic Cyclone in Borderlands 3. For more useful tips and information on the game, be sure to check out our extensive guide-wiki page.
