EA’s subscription game service, EA Access, is now live on the PS4 after being out for Xbox One and PC for quite some time now. Not every EA Access game is available for PS4 users but there are still some fantastic games to play that might be worth a subscription.
Here are the best EA Access games available on PS4 to play right now.
Battlefield 1
Battlefield 1 was first met with confusion when people heard of the strangely numbered title, but this entry in the long-running FPS series was a fresh of breath air and was such a successful return to greatness.
The game took players back to the great war when mechanized warfare was in its infancy, but that didn’t limit the variety of weapons and traversal that DICE was able to include in the game. Using some slight poetic license, they incorporated some intriguing weaponry and vehicles that arguably marked a series high for traversal and combat.
It was a great thing to see that in taking a gamble, DICE produced one of the best and prettiest FPS’ of all time.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
While all of the Call of Duty’s and Battlefields out there are aiming to make for some of the most depressing and mature first-person shooters out there, Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 does the complete opposite.
By mixing together vegetables and zombies, you got yourself a highly comedic multiplayer shooter that’s brimming with humor, personality, and tons of modes and content to keep you busy for quite some time.
This might be one of those weird-looking games that you probably slept on when it first launched, but if you choose to subscribe to EA Access, why not check it out for yourself?
Dragon Age: Inquisition
Dragon Age: Inquisition took the best from BioWare’s past Dragon Age games and created a massive and sprawling RPG that proved that BioWare still has that special dev juice.
The narrative choices presented in Inquisition really made every single playthrough different from the next, giving players their own story to follow and the choice of freedom to do whatever it is you please, whether it be to fight dragons or engage in romantic relationships with NPC’s.
It’s no wonder that it won GOTY back at The Game Awards in 2014. There’s so much content here that will keep you busy for a very long time.
Unravel 2
The first Unravel introduced us to an adorable little creature entirely composed of yarn, appropriately named Yarny. In this platforming sequel, Yarny is back, of course, but with a friend this time.
Unravel 2 delivers on the promise of excellent couch co-operative play and throws players into Scandanavian-inspired locations and tasks them with solving complex puzzles by working hard and thinking smart.
Luckily, you can play with a second player this time around because you all know that two brains are better than one.
The Sims 4
The Sims is the life simulation series that is the top dog when it comes to letting players live out their best fake life. You can create a sim that looks just like you or create one that looks nothing like you.
You can go on dates, take your date home, and basically force them to marry you and have kids –it’s the dream game.
With the new Island Living expansion that just came out, now you could live out your dream of being a mermaid and date other… mer-people(?)
The Sims 4 is the best place to start if you’re new to the series and thanks to EA Access, you can jump in and try it out.
