One of Fortnite’s Season 8 Week 10 challenges tasks players to ‘Search the Treasure Map Signpost Found in Junk Junction‘ and then to ‘Follow the Treasure Map Signpost in Junk Junction.‘ This is similar to a challenge we saw in week 8 for a Paradise Palms signpost, and just like that, we’ve already figured out the locations for both. Here’s everything you need to know.
Where to Search the Treasure Map Signpost in Junk Junction in Fortnite (Season 8 Week 10 Challenge)
The first stage of this challenge requires you to find the treasure map signpost in Junk Junction. This can be found in grid coordinates B1. Specifically, you’re going to want to head just north of the main building in Junk Junction and ever so slightly to the west of the basketball court in the north of this named location. You can check out our screenshots down below.
Once you’ve found the treasure map signpost in Junk Junction, to complete the first stage of this Fortnite Season 8 Week 10 challenge, simply walk on over to the signpost and interact with it. You’ll also want to take a quick look at the treasure map itself to try and figure out the treasure location its hinting to on Fortnite’s map.
If you’re struggling to figure out exactly where it’s trying to direct you to, though, fear not, we’ve figured this out for you down below.
Where to Follow the Treasure Map Signpost in Junk Junction in Fortnite – F8
Now that you’ve cleared the first stage of this challenge, it’s simply a case of figuring out where it’s trying to direct you to. While the treasure map in our screenshot above doesn’t feature any kind of clues just yet, a leak has provided us with the location.
For this, you’re going to want to head just northwest of Fatal Fields. Specifically, you’re going to want to head to the Fork Knife trenches. You’ll be able to find the treasure that’s being eluded to just on the south point of the ‘blade’ of the knife. It’s not within the trench itself, but you’ll spot a dirt patch just on the grass south of it where the Battle Star will appear.
You can check our screenshots to help you track down the exact location.
It’s worth noting that the Battle Star treasure will only appear when you get close enough to it. As such, don’t expect it to be glowing if you just land in the general vicinity. Once you’ve got close enough, it’ll appear and then you simply have to interact with it to pick it up.
That’s everything you need to know to complete the Fortnite Season 8 Week 10 challenge ‘Search the Treasure Map Signpost in Junk Junction.’ For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our ever-expanding Fortnite Season 8 guide wiki.
