While there isn’t really a dedicated manual save option available in the game, you can rest assured knowing that your progress in the story mode does get recorded pretty regularly.

As a general rule of thumb, when you’re playing through the story mode, quitting the game right after a fight is a pretty safe time to stop the game if you need a break.

To quit the game properly, just press the Options button on PS4 or the Menu button if you’re on Xbox One, then scroll down to the Quit Game option and select that. This will take you back to the game’s main menu.

Whenever you want to jump back into the game, just select the Konquer option again, and you’ll be taken to the Chapter Select screen. From here, just choose the latest chapter you left off at, and you’ll be able to continue the story in Mortal Kombat 11.

In addition to that, the Chapter Select screen also allows you to adjust the game’s difficulty if you want.

The game also saves your progress as you earn Koins, and as you progress through the Krypt to unlock new cosmetic items. Your Kombat Kard progress is also recorded as you make changes to it.

All of this stuff will be saved quickly, so you never really have to worry about losing cosmetic items you’ve already unlocked.

That’s all you need to know about how to save your game in Mortal Kombat 11. Be sure to check our Mortal Kombat 11 guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
