Streamed by the Japanese Aniplex YouTube account, the teaser is brief and to the point. Following a series of shots and highlights from the first season, it concludes with the reveal that the show’s second season will premiere sometime in 2020.

No other information has been given on the second season at this time.

The full teaser can be viewed down below.

The teaser followed the finale of The Promised Neverland’s first season, which proved a runaway hit among a decent portion of the anime community.

Set on a secluded farm where several children learn the terrifying truth of why they’re being kept there, the show follows their attempts to escape and reach the outside world.

All the while, they have to avoid the detection of and capture by those that put them there, using their wits in place of brawn to survive.

The show has received regular praise for its different take on the shonen genre, and its ongoing source material manga remains a popular property among readers of Shonen Jump.
