The DMC series is finally back with the fifth main entry, aptly titled Devil May Cry 5. Bringing back familiar faces like Dante and Nero, along with a new playable character named V, there’s a lot for fans to look forward to here. Here’s how to get Infinite Devil Trigger in Devil May Cry 5.

Unlocking Super Alternate Costumes in Devil May Cry 5

Before you can unlock Infinite Devil Trigger, first you’ll need to unlock some super costumes that will grant you that ability.

This isn’t going to be easy, though, as unlocking these costumes requires you to beat the game on the ‘Dante Must Die’ difficulty. This difficulty level is unlocked by beating the game on both Devil Hunter and Son of Sparda difficulties. So once you’ve done that, you’ll unlock Dante Must Die.

Simply beat Devil May Cry 5 on this difficulty (easier said than done, we know), and you’ll get super alternate costumes for each of the playable characters. Once you equip these costumes, you’ll automatically unlock this nifty ability as well.

Pros and Cons of Infinite Devil Trigger

With Infinite Devil Trigger, most challenges in the game will become a cakewalk. By being able to unleash your characters’ inner demonic potential, you’ll be able to rip through enemies pretty easily and clear levels quickly. If you just want to have fun and blast through the game, go ahead and use those super costumes.

However, you should be aware that using those costumes and Infinite Devil Trigger will automatically cause your rank to drop by 80%, which is pretty damn significant. This makes it near impossible for you to get S ranks on stages, and will definitely decrease the amount of Red Orbs you can get.

That’s all you need to know about how to get Infinite Devil Trigger in Devil May Cry 5. Be sure to search for Twinfinite or check our Devil May Cry 5 guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
