Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

This Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Steelbook from Japan Is Pretty Cool

The Japanese retailer Geo is well known among gamers for going out of its way to provide some rather cool steelbooks that often feature unique artwork, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is going to follow the same trend.

Those who will purchase the game at Geo will get a steelbook set featuring a version of the Japanese box art (which incidentally I like a lot more than the western one) that extends gracefully to the back of the cover with a Japanese landscape covered in fog and floating leaves.

This is different from the steelbook that will be distributed in the west as part of the Collector’s Edition, which features the protagonist seen from behind.

The same edition will also include a download code for a digital artbook and a mini soundtrack as a pre-order bonus.  You can check out a couple of pictures showing the steelbook and the bonus below.

If you want to learn more about Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, you can learn some new information that surfaced a few days agowatch some recent gameplay, and a trailer showcasing FromSoftware’s history with Sekiro front and center.

The game is launching for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 22, 2019. It’ll certainly be interesting to see if it’ll become as successful as the Souls series with Activision’s marketing support behind it.
