How to Conceal & Holster Your Weapon in Hitman 2

Developed by IO Interactive, Hitman 2 is, well, the follow-up to the original Hitman episodic game that released a couple years back. This game continues the story of Agent 47, who’s basically a badass assassin that takes out his targets in all sorts of cool ways. Of course, in order to be a true assassin, you’ll need to learn how to be discreet. As such, here’s what you need to know about how to conceal or holster your weapon in Hitman 2.

At the start of each mission in Hitman 2, you’ll be able to choose your gear loadout and select your preferred weapon. Most of the time, the game will start you off with the silenced ICA pistol, which is pretty easy to handle and carry around.

Whenever you’re in a mission and you want to take out your weapon, hit left or right on the d-pad and cycle through your items till you find the weapon you want. Then, hit the X button (or A if you’re on Xbox One) to take it out and equip it. From there, you’ll be able to hold the left and right trigger buttons to aim and shoot.

In order to conceal or holster your weapon and put it away, all you have to do it hit up on the d-pad. Agent 47 will then put the weapon away. We highly recommend that you conceal your weapon whenever you’re not using it, as walking around with a weapon in your hand will draw attention from people nearby.

You can usually get around without raising any suspicion if you’ve got an ordinary weapon in your hand, like a wrench or pipe, but a gun will raise all sorts of red flags, so make sure you put it away when not in use.

You can also conceal any other melee weapons or items you have in Hitman 2. However, heavier items cannot be tucked away so easily. For instance, car batteries are bulky and large, and hitting up on the d-pad won’t actually do anything. You’ll have to drop the item if you don’t want it on your person, or if you want to equip something else.

And that’s pretty much all you need to know about how to conceal or holster your weapon in Hitman 2. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more information on the game, or sound off in the comments down below if you have any questions about Hitman 2.
