Destiny 2 Forsaken: How to Get Etheric Spiral and What It Does

How to Get Etheric Spiral and What It Does in Destiny 2 Forsaken

Recommended Videos

Destiny 2 Forsaken launched earlier today and you know what that means? It is time to farm! One of the core changes that is being introduced with the new update involves the infusion system. With the release of Forsaken, players will now be required to use a large number of planetary materials in order to raise the Light Level of their guns and armor. One of those materials is the Etheric Spiral.

This planetary material appears as both a spiraled orange plant and a node that will emit a bright orange color once found. But where do you find it? Seeing as the Etheric Spiral is an extension of The Fallen and the Ether, it can only be found on the Tangled Shore, the asteroid wasteland near the Dreaming City, located within The Reef.

But where exactly will you find Etheric Spiral in Destiny 2? Like other resources, the material drops in a couple of different ways. First, it can be found spread throughout the area in plant form. The next best guarantee is to find it randomly in caches, the ones that look like a treasure chest, spread along the Shore. Public Events and Lost Sectors also drop Etheric Spiral, alongside a lot of other helpful materials. Combine these practices together, waiting for chest materials to respawn and new events to pop up, and it is just a matter of patience before finding enough material.

To make it a bit easier on yourself, make sure to take advantage of the best tool in your arsenal for gathering material such as Etheric Sprial, your Ghost. For this specific purpose, you are going to want to equip a Ghost that allows the Guardian to see chests and materials on that planet. Those Ghosts have the perk known as an Io Scanner, allowing you to see all of the Phaseglass Needles and unopened chests in the area.

That’s how you find Etheric Sprial in Destiny 2 Forsaken. If you have any more questions on how to find it or best use it, feel free to ask. For more tips, tricks, and guides on the new Destiny 2 new expansion, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
