Destiny 2 Forsaken: How to Get a Bow

How to Get a Bow in Destiny 2 Forsaken

Destiny 2 Forsaken is getting plenty of new items, including some new weapon types. One particular item you’ll get your hands on is none other than the bow –a ranged weapon capable of dealing some serious damage when used in the right hands. If you love pelting your enemies with arrows, you’ll probably want to get this weapon early on. Here’s how you can get your hands on the bow in Destiny 2 Forsaken if you haven’t found it yet.

Once you make your way to the tangled shore, you’ll be tasked with completing several missions after meeting Petra in Destiny 2 Forsaken. She’ll assign you some quests that you need to complete with her subordinates, and once those are all cleared, you’ll receive a legendary bow that comes with explosive rounds. The bow will be ready to equip once it’s in your inventory, so you can go ahead and snipe enemies from afar in your next mission in Destiny 2 Forsaken.

While the series has always leaned towards sci-fi, the game is finally branching out with this new ranged weapon. The bow is one of the newest additions to the game, giving players more offensive options to choose from. There are three different types of bows in the game –short-range, medium-range, and long-range. That being said, it seems like both positioning and timing play a key role in how you use this weapon effectively. Couple the bow with the revamped combat system, and players will have plenty of combinations to test out in Destiny 2 Forsaken. While the Hunter did get to play around with a bow with the Nightstalker subclass, this is the first time it’s being offered as a regular weapon.
