Fallout 76: Vault 76 Jumpsuit From Behind

Bethesda had everyone in a tizzy last week with its surprise Fallout stream. After making fans wait for almost an entire day, they finally revealed a short teaser for a new game called Fallout 76. This is a clear reference to Vault 76, which was referenced several times in Fallout 3. According to the series’ wiki, Vault 76 was a control vault that was meant to be used as a baseline for the rest of the experimental vaults in the world.

Not much else is known about the game just yet, and we’ll learn more about it when Bethesda gives it a proper showcase. However, a report from Kotaku suggests that this will be an online survival RPG that is heavily inspired by games like DayZ and Rust. If true, this will be quite the departure from the regular Fallout mainline games, which may or may not alienate longtime series fans. Still, we’ll only know if these rumors are true during Bethesda’s conference.
