E3 and the promise of many game announcements may be the most exciting thing happening in the gaming world in June 2018, but there’s still plenty of games to look forward to. None of them are on the juggernaut scale of God of War and Far Cry 5, two games a lot of people had been excited about for a long time, but there’s still some interesting smaller releases that involve iconic characters and franchises. Here are all the games that are due to release in June 2018:

(WEEKS ONE & TWO: June 1 – June 14)

Vampyr

The first half of the month is probably slightly quieter than the second. Vampyr, the RPG from the creators of Life Is Strange, is the highlight. The game follows Jonathan Reid, a doctor who is struggling to manage both his new life as a vampire and his profession. It’s certainly a change in tone for the developers.

The other two games to look out for are Onrush and Jurassic World Evolution. Onrush is a new racing game from Codemasters, but it’s more about teamwork and taking out other drivers than it is racing. There’s no finish line or podium, instead you have to boost your way around the track, taking out other vehicles and racking up points for your team. Jurassic World Evolution, on the other hand, sees you develop and run your own version of the famous theme park. Here are all the games releasing in the first two weeks of June 2018:

  • June 5 – BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle (PS4, PC)
