Kingdom Come Deliverance: How to Get a Horse

Getting a Horse in Kingdom Come Deliverance

Recommended Videos

Kingdom Come Deliverance features a rather huge open world for you to explore, and at some point, you’ll probably want to get yourself a horse to make things a little easier on yourself. There are a couple of ways to get horses: by stealing them, and buying them. However, horses are expensive, so you’ll need to save up some money first. Stealing a horse can also be risky if you’re surrounded by people, though if no one sees you committing the crime, you can get away with it rather easily.

If you don’t feel like spending all your money on a horse or breaking the law, there’s another way to get one: simply play through the main story missions until you arrive at Rattay. Continue following the story quests until you reach one titled ‘The Prey,’ where you’re tasked with going hunting with Lord Capon. Simply follow the objective markers, locate him in the woods and rescue him from a few thugs, and you’ll be rewarded with your very own personal horse Pebbles at the end of the mission. We definitely recommend getting your horse this way instead of buying or stealing.
