EASIEST PS4 TROPHIES AND PLATINUMS OF JULY 2017

minecraft, story mode, season 2, telltale games

Telltale is a trophy hunter’s best friend. You can usually count on them to release at least one episode in one of their ongoing seasons that offers up six easy trophies to add to your collection a month. July was no exception and saw the premiere episode of Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 hit the PS4 among many other platforms. As always, that means you have six shiny baubles to earn which includes three bronze, two silver, and one gold.

If you’re new to Telltale’s particular brand of games, you’ll be happy to know that obtaining the PS4 trophies on offer require nothing more than completing each episode. The choices you make have no bearing on whether or not they unlock. Plus, after completing the final episode once the season is done, you’ll get a shiny platinum trophy for your efforts.

Pyre

EASIEST PS4 TROPHIES AND PLATINUMS OF JULY 2017

Pyre

Pyre is the newest title from Supergiant Games (Bastion and Transistor). If you’ve played their previous games, then you know that while the trophy lists offer some challenge, they tend to be far from being really difficult. Pyre falls within that same range. There is some challenge that has to do with combat and making sure you complete certain world interactions.

Seeing as how the game isn’t extremely long (8-10 hours depending on your play), it’s an easy weekend platinum for the PS4. Just grab a few guides for anything tricky and you’ll be off to the races and increasing that trophy count in no time.

Fortnite

Fortnite

Fortnite is technically in paid early access right now, with the full, free-to-play release sometime next year. However, that doesn’t mean players can’t dive in and earn a ton of trophies right now, with the vast majority of them requiring simply progressing through the game. Seeing as how Fortnite is actually pretty fun (although a lot to take in at first glance), it’s a perfect option for all you trophy hunters who want a bit more than just a mindless grind.

We must note that if you’re going for the platinum trophy it will require a sizable time investment. If you’re only playing Fortnite, you can do it in a week or so if you put in tons of hours. But, it’s not incredibly difficult, especially if you’re playing with friends. If you want to do multiple games at once, this is a good one to have going as your second for some easy rewards.

Black the Fall

Black The Fall

Black the Fall is a puzzle-platformer from Sand Sailor Studio that released around midway through July on PS4 and other platforms. Its dark story sees an old man work to escape communism with the help of a robot and his wits. It’s not a very long game (music to a trophy hunter’s ears), and should take no more than five hours to get everything, especially if you’re using a handy guide (like this one).

Most of the trophies revolve around finding events off the beaten path, but none are so far off that you’ll be lost forever. Sit down after lunch, and before dinner time you’ll be one platinum trophy richer.
