Wolfenstein: The New Order might have kicked the series off again back in 2015, but The New Colossus will see players heading to Nazi-controlled America in order to source the best resistance fighters the land has to offer. While you don’t see much of BJ Blazkowicz as you gun through endless Nazi soldiers and mechs, you’ll finally be able to own a miniature version of our hero as part of the game’s collector’s edition.

The Terror-Billy action figure stands just shy of a foot tall and comes with a bomber jacket and four different weapons for you to switch out between. The figure also comes with a steelbook case, double-sided poster, and comes in a stylish old-school action figure box. And to top it all off, it’s currently available on Amazon for just shy of $100!

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle

Top 10 Best Collector’s Editions Still to Come in 2017

Blending the comic relief of Ubisoft’s Rabbids with the lush Mushroom Kingdom setting of Mario, Kingdom Battle marks the first proper crossover between Nintendo and a third-party. To mark this momentous occasion, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is getting its very own collector’s edition filled with some pretty neat physical goodies.

Alongside the full game, players will also get a six-inch figurine of Rabbid Mario, a set of collector’s cards featuring the game’s iconic characters, and a CD of the original soundtrack. While Kingdom Battle’s Collector’s Edition comes in at just under $100 once more, it might be a bit trickier to find, as GameStop is currently out of stock.

Destiny 2

collector's edition

Unless you’ve been living under a rock the past few years, you’ve probably heard of a little game called Destiny. Well, Bungie and Activision are bringing the next chapter of the story next month with Destiny 2, and of course, it has a collector’s edition.

This one’s a bit of a beast, with a fairly substantial price tag to boot, too. Coming in at a hefty $249.99, the Destiny 2 Collector’s Edition boasts a whole host of physical and digital content. Alongside the base game, players will get the expansion pass and a bunch of premium digital content including a legendary sword and player emote to enhance your experience fighting against the darkness.

The main attractions of this collector’s edition come in the form of its physical goodies, most notably its Frontier Bag that can be adjusted to be worn as both a messenger bag or backpack. You’ll also get a Frontier Kit featuring a Solar panel USB charger, Paracord, Solar Blanket, Steelbook Case, and a bunch of Cabal schematics and booklets filling out the game’s lore. If you’re a dedicated Guardian, this one is well worth the asking price.

Assassin’s Creed: Origins

Top 10 Best Collector’s Editions Still to Come in 2017

The Assassin’s Creed series had grown a bit long in the tooth by the time Syndicate rolled around in 2015. In fact, the popular opinion was that the series felt all too similar and was in dire need of an overhaul, so that’s exactly what Ubisoft did. After missing out last year, the series now returns this October as players are whisked away to Ancient Egypt to uncover the roots of the Brotherhood.

As we’ve got used to now with Ubisoft’s big series, Assassin’s Creed: Origins actually has six different editions for you to choose from, but its Dawn of the Creed Legendary Edition is by far its most impressive.

The usual culprits for collector’s editions feature here with DLC, a Season Pass, soundtrack, art book, art cards, and a steelbook, but the Legendary Edition takes it one step further. Each Legendary Edition contains one of only 999 numbered Bayek & Senu 73cm resin figurines with a certificate of authenticity to boot. While the God’s Edition and normal Dawn of the Creed Edition also include this figure, they’re both smaller and not limited. You’ll also get your hands on Bayek’s eagle skull amulet in resin in the Legendary Edition, as opposed to it being made of cheaper materials in the lesser editions.

This will set you back an eye-watering $800, however, so the significantly cheaper standard Dawn of the Creed Edition may be a more viable option for most fans.

ARK: Survival Evolved

Top 10 Best Collector’s Editions Still to Come in 2017

ARK: Survival Evolved has been around for a while now, but at the end of August it’ll finally emerge from early access in all of its Jurassic glory! Looking at the image above, ARK’s Collector’s Edition might not look quite as special or impressive as others on this list, but it’s the commitment to the prehistoric theme that earns it bonus points here.

While most games have an in-game Bestiary or encyclopedia which details all of the beasts you come across, ARK’s Collector’s Edition instead gives you a handcrafted leather-bound Explorer’s Notebook, detailing every creature you’ll come across in the game. You’ll also get a physical map of the island on cloth, a development team poster, ARK necklace, and the game’s Season Pass for all three future expansions. Oh, and the whole thing comes boxed in a swanky faux-wood chest. This collector’s edition is only available on PS4 and Xbox One, however, sorry PC players!

Call of Duty: WWII

Call of Duty: WWII’s Valor Collection is the perfect way to celebrate the series’ return to the past. The centerpiece of this edition is clearly its bronze statue depicting some sort of D-Day scene. With plenty of detail and the bronze finish giving it a classy, dated look, it’s certainly one of the better-looking statues we’ve seen this year.

The Valor Collection also comes with a Bloodraven sword pin, Division patches, and a huge Nazi Zombies poster to mark the start of the new Zombies campaign in WWII. It remains to be seen just how much this edition will set you back as pre-orders have yet to go live, but it’s sure to be popular with Call of Duty fans.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole

South Park: The Fractured But Whole

South Park: The Fractured But Whole’s Collector’s Edition has been known about for quite some time now, but following a number of delays there’s a good chance it may have slipped your mind.

While the collector’s edition doesn’t include the Season Pass found in the game’s Gold Edition, it does include a bunch of in-game Costumes and Perks, as well as three postcards featuring some of South Park’s iconic superheroes. It’s the 6-inch Coon figurine, however, that’s the real star of the show, and is likely what’ll tempt many fans into splashing for the $100 edition.

Gran Turismo Sport

At first glance, the Gran Turismo Sport Collector’s Edition doesn’t seem like much, but it’s the definitive edition to grab for avid Gran Turismo and motorsport fans.

While the gold steelbook looks neat, it’s that giant APEX book that will pique the interest of racing fans. The book guides fans through everything to do with motoring with all of the nitty gritty details that car fanatics love. There’s also a 1:43 scale model of the Mercedes-AMG GTS with an exclusive paint job included so you can showcase your love for the series, too.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War

collector's editions

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor made waves when it released back in 2014. It looked great, it was an open-world title in Middle-earth, and its Nemesis system had plenty of promise. Shadow of War aims to up the ante in just about every conceivable way when it releases in October, and its collector’s edition is no exception.

Titled the Mithril Edition, Shadow of War’s priciest edition comes with a 12″ Tar-Goroth Balrog vs. Carnan Drak statue, depicting an epic battle between the two. This centerpiece is accompanied by a cloth map of Mordor, a collection of lithographs, a tribes sticker pack, a magnetic ring of power, collector’s box, soundtrack, and some exclusive in-game content. It’ll set you back $300, but when the statue looks that good we’d say that’s a fair price.

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite

Top 10 Best Collector’s Editions Still to Come in 2017

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite’s Collector’s Edition turned the heads of just about every Marvel and Capcom fan when it was revealed earlier this year. Coming in at just a penny shy of $200, players will get their hands on Diorama statues of Chun-Li, Captain Marvel, Iron Man, and Mega-Man X.

However, for those power-hungry fans out there, you’ll also get your very own set of Infinity Stones and a decorative case to keep them safe from your enemies. A must for any fans of the fighting series out there.
