Dark Souls III The Ringed City: Where to Get the Ruin Armor Set

Ruin Armor – Dark Souls III The Ringed City

Recommended Videos

One of the first armor sets you are able to claim in the new Dark Souls III The Ringed City expansion is called the Ruin Armor, and it can be found tucked away in a corner. To get this item, you will need to first slay the Demon Prince boss and make your way to the actual Ringed City via the flying demons. Once you land, make your way down the steps and light the bonfire in front of you in case you mess up the next section. In order to get to the armor, you will need to dodge an entire brigade of ghostly archers that will instantly slaughter you if you’re out in the open when they fire. Head down the stairs and quickly hang a right, following along the path that leads next to the ruins you just walked down.

Stick to the left side as it will make it harder for the archers to hit you since there are a few rather large tombstones behind you. After you reach the end, turn right and all the articles of clothing can be found sitting there against the wall. The Ruin Armor is a rather heavy set so if you plan on being light on your feet, we don’t recommend trying it out. However, it offers decent protection against Poison, Slash, and Bleed damage, which is always nice, especially for PvP. After you have the Ruin Armor, head back the way you came to continue your journey through the Ringed City.
